    Avinor's activities affect the environment both globally and locally. Therefore, we take environmental responsibility and actively work to reduce this impact.

      Building Restriction Area (BRA) is a map of areas with restrictions related to development around airports.

    5. PFAS

      Avinor has, following orders from the Norwegian Environment Agency, initiated extensive cleanup efforts to prevent the spread of PFAS compounds in nature.

    Oslo Airport will actively work to limit noise pollution (from aircraft and helicopter traffic) for residents in the airport's surrounding areas.

    We regularly monitor groundwater and nearby aquatic environments at Oslo Airport to ensure that our activities do not cause pollution. Significant investments have also been made in systems that collect and treat pollution before it can reach nature.
